JD Nash: Celebrating the Privilege of Friends, Family and his Americana Music

by Alberto Quiroz

JD Nash, an Albuquerque-based artist known for his Americana music, is a public school teacher and a man who is deeply grateful for the people in his life. In a recent post, he spoke about the importance of his friends and family, and how they have helped him through difficult times. Nash said, “Friends make you a better person. I have always been blessed to have some of the most caring, helpful, and supportive friends. They blend into my family. And throughout the dark times, my friends and family are the ones who give me hope and keep me strong.

As an artist, Nash has experienced his fair share of struggles, but he credits his loved ones with helping him to persevere. “When things get tough, it’s important to have people in your corner,” he said. “My friends and family have been my rock through everything.” Nash is quick to point out that his support system is constantly growing. “I wish I had a single picture with everyone. There are too many, and I make more friends every day,” he said. “My friends and family are my worth. I am a wealthy person with all the love they give.”

Nash’s appreciation for his friends and family extends to his music as well. “The people in my life are my inspiration,” he said. “They are the ones who give me stories to tell and the motivation to keep creating.”

In addition to his music, Nash is also a public school teacher. He sees his job as a way to give back to his community and make a positive impact on the world. Nash’s dedication to his students is just one aspect of his commitment to his community. He also uses his music to give back, performing at events like the Monsoon MUSAIC Festival, which takes place in Albuquerque on May 27.

Nash’s music is deeply rooted in the traditions of Americana and folk, with a focus on storytelling and the power of human connection. He sees his music as a way to bring people together and build a sense of community. As Nash continues to create and perform his music, he is grateful for the support of his friends and family, as well as his community. He sees his art as a way to give back and make a positive impact on the world.
